Dosage & Administration of ESP Capsule

Adult Dose:

• Tablet/Capsule: 1-2 tablets/capsules daily.

Interaction

• Antiepileptics, oral contraceptives, anti-TB drugs, alcohol, aminopterin, methotrexate, pyrimethamine, trimethoprim, and sulphonamides may result in a decrease in serum folate concentrations.
• Decreases serum phenytoin concentrations.
• Quinolone, Tetracycline, Cisplatin, Penicillamine, and Amiloride may interact with zinc.

Contraindications

• This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
• Folic Acid is contraindicated in untreated cobalamin (vitamin B12) deficiency.
